About the band:
The band were awesome. They sounded amazing and looked really cool. They arrived in plenty of time and coped with our over running of meal/ speeches etc. They set up as discreetly as is possible and played The Black Eyed Peas as their opening number fantastically. Everyone commented on how excellent they were, the vocals were brilliant, as were the musicians. They had a very calm, relaxed manner about them and did all that they could to personalise their performance to suit us, they made the night very special. I would highly recommend Black and Gold, via earcandy. Photo's to follow!

We wanted to give special thanks to the band (Black and Gold) It was unbelievable how good the band were at our wedding. We were hopeful that we could get some people dancing and get a good atmosphere going but what actually happened was far beyond our expectations. The band were the catalyst for the spectacular atmosphere and day.
From the lead singer right through to the sound engineer, everyone was very helpful and all aided in creating a fantastic evening.
We have nothing but praise for them and want to make sure they know how much we appreciated them on the day.

Black and Gold were amazing. They were everything we wanted our band to be and more. The lead singer was excellent, what a voice! We had so many people telling us how incredible they were, they made our reception really special. Fabulous! Can't recommend them enough. I just wanted to say (somewhat belatedly) how fantastic Black and Gold were when they performed at our wedding on 12 November 2011! They were absolutely brilliant and the lead singer has a truly amazing voice. Thank you so much for all efforts in arranging for them to play at relatively short notice. They were being talked about by friends and family for days after the wedding so please could you let them know - they were a huge hit and made the evening a really memorable one!

I would definitely book Black & Gold again, they were fantastic. A great range of songs, and perfectly performed to create just the right atmosphere for our New Years Eve Gala Dinner and Dance. The dance floor was full, a sure sign of a great band. Being the main contact for the band, I found them all very professional and well organised which makes the running of an event less stressful and more enjoyable! Thank you to Black & Gold!
